Zach Schroeder

For this assignment we got to decide what we wanted to draw and I chose one of my favorite rappers Rico Nasty. With this piece I used a monochromatic scheme. The things I liked most in this piece was my values, pattern, and color. I like that you can tell the difference between the value in her skin and hair, and the value in her clothes. I also liked the pattern I used. I only used color in all the warm tones from the reference photo and I think it really makes those areas pop. Overall I liked working on this piece and even though I could have improved on some elements I still am proud of this piece.
